Derek Joyce is Co-Founder and CEO of XYB, bringing over 20 years of strategic leadership experience across fintech. Before XYB, he served as COO at Alloy, a $1.55B identity decisioning platform, and as President of Bread, where he helped drive its $450M acquisition by Alliance Data Systems. He has also held roles at Klarna and American Express. Derek played a key role in XYB's separation from Monese and its fundraising as an independent company.
Co-Founder & CTO
Jonas Kiiver is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of XYB, where he leads the engineering vision behind the platform's composable, event-native architecture. Previously, Jonas served as CTO at Monese, where he built the technical foundation that ultimately became XYB. Based in Estonia, he studied at Tartu University and brings deep expertise in software development, Java, and agile methodologies.

Melissa Donohue is Chief Product and Operating Officer at XYB, where she oversees product strategy, operations, and go-to-market execution. Melissa brings extensive leadership experience from roles spanning product and go-to-market across Miro, Clyde, and Klarna, giving her a deep understanding of scaling platforms at the intersection of technology and financial services.
